Personal Income Tax Return

What:
Once you have obtained a tax number, it is important to provide it to your bank upon request and proactively fill out a tax return. In Thailand, this form for the tax declaration is called PND 90 and is available in English and thai. You can download the PND 90 form via the provided link. Where:
You can find the Thai tax return on the Revenue Department’s website or directly at the Revenue Department office. Alternatively, the tax return form is available for download.

 

When:
It is recommended that anyone who knows they will live in Thailand as a resident for more than 180 days proactively apply for, fill out, and submit the PND 90 tax return. The usual filing period for the previous year is from January to March.

 

How:
To fill out the tax return pnd 90, all documents containing information about income or expenses are required. These documents should be submitted as signed copies. It is also important to attach receipts for taxes already paid. Additionally, references to the applicable double taxation agreement may be necessary.
